WhatsApp’s new Favorites Tab is here! 🎉 Easily access your most important contacts and groups. Here’s how it works:

📞 Integration with Calls: Speed dial your favorite contacts straight from the calls tab.
➕ Adding Favorites:
– From Chats Screen: Select ‘favorites’ and choose who to add. FrivCM Tech updates
– From Calls Tab: Tap ‘Add Favorite’ and make your picks.
– Via Settings: Go to Settings > Favorites > Add to Favorites, and rearrange as you please.
👀 Viewing Favorites: Switch to view only your favorite chats, stay organized and never miss a beat!
To access the Favorites filter on WhatsApp:
From the Chats Screen:
Kindly tap the Favorites filter located at the top of your chat list.
This will conveniently display only the FrivCM Tech contacts and groups you have marked as favorites.
From the Calls Tab:
Kindly open the Calls tab.
Gently tap the Add Favorite button located at the top.
Kindly select the contacts or groups you wish to add as favorites.
Via Settings:
Kindly navigate to Settings > Favorites.
Gently tap Add to Favorites to select contacts and groups.
You may also reorder your favorites here.
Once you have added contacts and groups to your favorites, you can easily access them by:
Kindly tapping the Favorites filter on the chats screen to view only your favorite chats.
Kindly dialing your favorite contacts directly from the Calls tab.
The favorites you set will sync across your chats and calls, allowing you to swiftly find and connect with the individuals who hold the utmost importance to you on WhatsApp. The feature is being gradually rolled out and will be accessible to all users in the upcoming weeks.
There are a few privacy issues to think about with WhatsApp’s new Favorites feature:
– If you share your phone with someone, they might be able to see the people and groups in your Favorites list. This could tell them personal stuff about your relationships and who you talk to.
– You might accidentally add the wrong person to your Favorites list. This could mean you share your Favorites list with someone you didn’t mean to.
– WhatsApp says that only you can see your Favorites list, but Meta (the company that owns WhatsApp) might use the info about who you mark as a favorite to show you more targeted ads. Meta has had problems with privacy in the past.
– You can’t choose to hide certain people or groups from your Favorites list. You can either add someone to the list or not add them at all. More options could help with privacy concerns.
